March Favourites!

Another month of 2013 gone… honestly I thought March went really slow, but oh well April’s here now which means- easter, springtime and of course my birthday ;). Here are some products I loved using in the month of March.

Makeup

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

I lost my Avon powder at the end of last month, so I decided I would give this a whirl, as it is raved about in the beauty community. I.LOVE.THIS. It keeps me shine free all day and it sets my foundation beautifully.

Benefit They’re Real! Mascara

I got this for Christmas, and I love it! It makes my lashes look gorgeous, long and full of volume. I love that this doesnt smudge on my lower lashline after a day, which is a problem I have with most mascaras.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in the shade Berry Smoothie

I love this for in the evenings, when I pay more attention to my make-up. This is a great colour that isn’t too dramatic. This looks great with just some mascara and powder!

Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Buff

I had been eyeing this foundation for so long, so when Superdrug were having a free delivery offer I literally couldn’t resist. I’m so glad I bought this as it has more coverage than my other foundations, which is good for when I breakout. Also I like that when people touch my face, or hug me, my foundation doesnt transfer onto them. (It has happened before… cringe)

Skincare/ Hair/ Fragrance

Simple Kind to Skin vital vitamin Night Cream

I ran out of my night cream, so I purchased this on a whim, in the hopes it wouldn’t  break me out. It didnt- thank god and it’s really moisturized my skin. A little goes a long way and you get quite a lot in a tub.

Percy & Reed London Really Rather Radiant Colour & Shine Conditioner

I got this free with this months edition of GLAMOUR and I use this as a once a week treatment for my hair. I love the smell of this- it smells of those fruit salad sweets, and you can also smell it in your hair after you dry it. It also makes my hair super soft which is a bonus!

Taylor Swift Wonderstruck EDP

I bought this in superdrug for just £12! I’m so glad I did, it smells really girly and flirty. I cant really describe scents so this is what I’ve found online. (which by the way is really cute!)

The fragrance composition is described as a charming gourmand – floral with sparkling fruity tones on a wooden background. The top notes are raspberry, dewberry, green tea, freesia and apple blossom. The heart features sweet vanilla along with sundrenched honeysuckle and white hibiscus. Notes of golden amber, musk, sandalwood and peach are in the base.”

What have you been loving this month??

I just got the colorstay foundation and it's currently in my box of unopened products. I do however LOVE the photoready foundation! I have recently become a huge lover of all things Revlon. I'm so happy I finally gave them a try! After seeing all of this hype from everyone and their mother, I feel like I need to give Theyre real another try. I used it once back about a year ago and I just absolutely hated it! Maybe the second times a charm?-Meganwww.armywifestylelife.blogspot.com

I really want to try the photoready foundation! I've heard it's really shimmery but I'm still intrigued! I didn't like they're real much when I first bought it, I thought it made my lashes really clumpy but now ( i have no idea why) it seems to work really great! xx
